Over the years, TBF has repeatedly entrusted Atlantic Bone Screen with the characterization and preclinical evaluation of their innovative biomaterials, ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ -๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐จ๐.
For the study presented at ESB this week, our team has contributed to the in vivo evaluation of two biomaterials derived from human placental tissue, assessing their persistence, tissue integration and local response after implantation.
This project is a great example of the complementary expertise we can bring to biomaterial development, combining:
๐น Tailored in vivo implantation models
๐น Histology & histopathological assessment
๐น Tissue integration and local tolerance evaluation
๐น Quantitative image analysis and histomorphometry
(and, depending on the application, microCT characterization can also be applied)
