Fixed or paraffin embedded samples 

All the needed equipment and machines are available on-site in order to process any kind of organs and tissues and thus ensure quality and traceability.

Samples can be received either in Formalin or already embedded in paraffin. Details are provided on sampling and transport conditions to ensure good quality of samples before histological processing. Also advices for customs can be provided in case samples come from abroad.

Atlantic Bone Screen has all needed authorisation to manage animal biological samples and daily receives samples to be processed before external vet’ diagnosis.

Classical staining and special ones

Atlantic Bone Screen can support you at any step of the histology process with routine and special stains.

• Periodic Acid Schiff (PAS),

Slides digitalization

Histological slides our Team generates can be either scanned or sent back to your place or to the attention of your vet’ pathologist for analysis and diagnosis /digital pathology.

The slides are scanned with Hamamatsu Nanozoomer Slide Scanner.
